Dr. Wakil Ahmed is an Orthopedic Surgeon trained at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), Dhaka. He completed advanced training in Sports Medicine, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, and hip and knee replacement surgery at Singapore General Hospital under renowned specialists, and further enhanced his expertise through training in Thailand, South Korea, and India.

A significant part of his practice focuses on hip and knee joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. He is also well trained in trauma surgery and has performed over 5,000 knee arthroscopic procedures and more than 400 total hip and knee replacement surgeries.
